DSA – Double Studded Adapter Flange

Double Studded Adapter Flange(DSAF) or Double Studded Adapter(DSA) is commonly used to connect and adapt flanges with different nominal sizes, pressure ratings, and configurations.The connecting bolts for each side, called “Tap End Studs” thread into tapped holes in the body, conforming to the same size bolts and bolt circle as nominal for the specified flange each side shall fit. Double Studded Adapter(DSA) serves as the shortest method to join flanges of different sizes or pressure ratings. Double Studded Adapter(DSA) is an important device to connect the different flanges for the wellhead, so the ma terial of the body studs and nuts shall conform to the related requirements.
