Our Sentry RAM BOP is ideal for land and jack-up rigs. It excels in flexibility and safety, performing under extreme temperatures up to 176 °C and meeting API 16A, 4th Ed. PR2 standards. It reduces ownership costs by ~ 30% and provides the highest shear force in its class. The most advanced Hydril RAM BOP for Jackups and Platform rigs is also available in 13 5/8” (5K) and 13 5/8” (10K).
The Sentry BOP combines the ease of maintenance, operational flexibility, and low cost required to be competitive in today’s land market. Shorter and lighter than other 13 in. drilling ram blowout preventers , the Sentry design retains the strength and reliability for which Hydril Pressure Control BOPs have been known for the past 40+ years. Assemblies can be customized to meet user’s needs with:
1. Single or double body
2. Single or tandem operators
3. Blind shear ram blocks
4. Fixed pipe ram blocks
5. Variable ram blocks
6. 5,000 psi and 10,000 psi versions
Features:
The BOP is specially designed and developed for Workover operations.
Under the condition of the same diameter, the workover operation can satisfy the pressure grade of the bop only by replacing the diameter connecting bolt and the gate assembly.
The installation mode of the gate is side-open, so it is convenient to replace the gate assembly.
